We’ve been hearing from Parent Carers about the need to learn about how to understand and support Autistic traits.

Demand Avoidance can be one of the most tricky behaviours to manage. This workshop will look at:

• What is demand avoidance?

• How does it present in SEN?

• How do we support it?

The session will be delivered by Corrina Wood of Platypus Training. Corrina has been developing and delivering workshops and courses for over 10 years and is a qualified tutor. Her Masters in Autism focused on developing tools to increase awareness of Autism in wider family. This workshop is put together with a combination of research and lived experience of raising two autistic daughters with demand avoidant profiles.
