An Introduction to NVR - the non-violent resistance approach for dealing with your child's/young person's extreme behavioural issues

Non Violent Resistance, or NVR, is an innovative approach to extreme behavioural issues. This can include violence in the home, drug use, controlling behaviour, learning difficulties, or neuro-development differences like Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.

In this introductory session, Jack and Nicky from New Leaf, will provide an outline of the techniques and tools used in NVR and explore how the NVR approach can improve parental confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour and benefit the whole family's well-being.

This Free training workshop is for residents of North Somerset and priority will be given to parent carers of children/young people with additional needs and disabilities. Professionals working with children and young families in North Somerset are also welcome to attend
