NSPCWT would like to invite parent carers to a fully funded online training session with Catrina Lowri from Neuroteachers for training on autism and co-occurring conditions.

Neurodivergent people rarely have one condition, and in Autism is it extremely likely that the individual with have another condition alongside. This can often be missed as the common symptoms are so similar.

You may be a parent or professional with a child in mind and have some niggling thoughts that there may be a co-occurring condition however cannot put your finger on what that is, or you may know that the child has another condition and would like to know more on how to support them best.

Catrina will break all of this down for you, discuss the common co-occurring conditions and support you in un-picking this.

Catrina supports the North Somerset, Bristol and South Glos forums with the ASD training we provide on the 4 following subjects related to autism: sensory, anxiety, behaviour and communication. She has ample experience teaching about neurodivergent conditions, and is prepared for all questions asked.
