North Somerset Parent Carers Working Together are pleased to invite parent carers in North Somerset to free training with Lisa Baker-Murray at BakerMurray Consulting on How to become a strong advocate for your child with SEN.
Do you often feel overwhelmed when entering meetings regarding your child or young person? Do you easily become emotional in situations? You will find this training may benefit you as you gain the strength and knowledge on how to properly advocate for your child. • Supporting parents and careers to be able to advocate for the child within difficult meetings and or settings.
• Support with the language that is used to describe the child.
• Remaining professional in the setting even though dealing with a very emotive subject.

This event is also open to professionals who work with children/young people with additional needs and/or disabilities in North Somerset.
