Neurodiversity Transformation Project Update

The Neurodiversity Transformation Project was born out of changes across Health

since last March 2023. The concerns and feedback received from parent carers

following the changes to the autism assessment process were shared with the

Integrated Care Board (ICB) resulting in a review of the autism and ADHD pathways.

The transformation project was created to co-ordinate this review and is led by the

ICB and co-chaired by the three Parent Carer Forums (PCF) across Bristol, North

Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) who have been working with the

three local authorities, professionals across health, education, social care, and

voluntary sectors, to ensure the voices of parent carers and children and young

people inform the future model.

We would now like to provide a project update specifically for our parent carers in

Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire and to ensure you are fully

informed about the status of the project, and to allow you to ask questions.

There are two opportunities to choose from:

  • Online 7pm-9pm Tuesday 9 th July 2024

  • Or In person 10am-12pm - Thursday 11 th July 2024 at BAWA, 589 Southmead Rd, Bristol, BS34 7RG
