NSPCWT would like to invite parent carers to a fully funded face to face training session with Catrina Lowri from Neuroteachers for training on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Do you have a child or young person with OCD, or do you see traits of this condition in them and you would like to know more? Join us with Catrina to really unpick this condition that is not talked about enough and we often overlook with other conditions taking more of a centre stage.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a common, chronic, and long-lasting disorder in which a person has uncontrollable, reoccurring thoughts ("obsessions") and/or behaviors ("compulsions") that he or she feels the urge to repeat over and over.

Catrina will walk you through this condition, the signs and symptoms and how these may be effecting your child on a day to day life. You will learn tips and strategies and changes that you may be able to make to support your child or young person and support the whole family.

Catrina supports the North Somerset, Bristol and South Glos forums with the ASD training we provide on the 4 following subjects related to autism: sensory, anxiety, behaviour and communication. She has ample experience teaching about neurodivergent conditions, and is prepared for all questions asked.
