We did

The new annual review paperwork was sent out to schools accompanied by a guidance document. On the back of the guidance document a new, online training module was designed and released to the schools and professionals. This was created alongside the Council of Disabled Children’s training modules on annual reviews and outcomes with the intention to help inform schools and professionals of their roles in relation to annual reviews.

A follow up video presentation was recorded with a representative from SEND and You (SAY) on how to hold an annual review and why it’s important to keep the child and the family at the centre of the process..

The new EHC portal which we have introduced will also have the ability to capture annual reviews in the future and allow schools to co-ordinate the reviews via the system. It will also allow families to view these documents via the portal as well-meaning all the EHC information will be in one place for them
